Violin & Piano Instructor
Aigerim Burakanova is a classically trained violinist and dedicated music educator with an international performance background and a passion for cultivating artistic excellence in her students. She holds a Master’s Degree in Music from the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy and has completed advanced training at the Royal Northern College of Music in the United Kingdom and the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
As a professional violinist, Aigerim has performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of Almaty and the Concert Orchestra of the Mayor of Almaty, touring internationally across South Korea, Russia, England, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. Her orchestral and chamber music experience has shaped her refined musicianship and deep understanding of ensemble collaboration.
In addition to her orchestral career, Aigerim is an active performer with Duo Elegance, where she provides sophisticated live music for weddings, corporate events, and private engagements. Her repertoire spans classical masterworks to modern arrangements tailored to each occasion.
As an educator, Aigerim teaches violin, piano, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. She is known for her structured yet encouraging approach, developing personalized lesson plans that strengthen technique, musical expression, and performance confidence. She prepares students for recitals, auditions, and competitions while instilling discipline, artistry, and a lifelong love for music.
Fluent in English, Russian, and Kazakh, Aigerim connects easily with families from diverse backgrounds and brings both cultural depth and professional excellence to the Moon School of Music community.
