Jewel Moore, from Farmville, VA, is a classically trained soprano with extensive cross-training of other genres. Ms. Moore considers herself a “multi-genre singer” and actively embraces the expansive and
diverse abilities of her students’ voices. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she was the Student Leader of the Opera and Oratorio Ensemble, and her Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Shenandoah University. Her operatic solo role experience includes Zita in Gianni Schicchi and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas; and she has enjoyed numerous ensemble roles, including productions of Carmen, Faust, La Boheme, and Madama Butterfly.

Outside of opera, Ms. Moore enjoys singing jazz, soul, and pop music.
