Hailing from Farmville, VA, Jewel Moore is a classically trained soprano with extensive cross-training in various musical genres. Embracing her identity as a “multi-genre singer,” Ms. Moore celebrates the diversity and unique abilities of her students’ voices, encouraging them to explore their full potential.
Ms. Moore earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she served as the Student Leader of the Opera and Oratorio Ensemble. She continued her studies at Shenandoah University, earning a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy. Her operatic experience includes solo roles such as Zita in Gianni Schicchiand Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, as well as ensemble performances in productions of Carmen, Faust, La Bohème, and Madama Butterfly.
Beyond opera, Ms. Moore is passionate about singing jazz, soul, and pop music, demonstrating her versatility and love for diverse musical styles.
