I am excited to nominate Julie Yu as June’s Student of the Month. Julie has been a dedicated student of mine for 3 years. She is always well-prepared for our lessons and demonstrates clear signs of progress each week. Since our pivot to online learning, she takes her time to prepare her space and materials before each lesson and takes on new challenges with great attitude and persistence. I can truly see her passion for music and learning the piano - Julie is the type of student who asks for more homework and pieces to practice throughout the week! These qualities will undoubtedly bring her a lot of success. Keep up the great work, Julie!

I have been playing piano for almost three years.

I like classical music.

My favorite musician is Joe Hisaishi because he composed some of my favorite songs.

My favorite part is learning how to play my favorite songs.
What is your favorite subject at school?
My favorite subject at school is recess.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I REALLY want to be a doctor when I grow up.
